The Process of Paving a Parking Lot

From grocery stores to office buildings to hotels, parking lots are everywhere we look, but few people understand the process behind paving a parking lot.  Certain steps are required to take place before other steps can be implemented so the parking lot is properly constructed.  Before paving, the area must be cleared of debris, and the subgrade checked to make sure it is compact.  While paving, you must make sure you have the proper equipment and plan in place to ensure the asphalt sets up correctly.  After the paving is finished, you should seal off cracks as they occur and fix any drainage issues that happen.
